What are Male Facial Fillers?
Male facial fillers, injectables, and laser treatments are minimally invasive, and commonly non-surgical rejuvenation treatments that safely and effectively reduce mild wrinkles, creases, crow’s feet, and other aging signs in a man’s face. Dr. Birely is an expert with the following male facial fillers.
Fractional CO2 and Erbium laser skin resurfacing
This laser treatment is used to increase collagen production within the face stimulating a tightening of the skin in predetermined areas. It’s also used to treat scars and blotches on the face.
BOTOX® and Dysport®
Popular FDA approved injectable treatments are used to reduce wrinkles and crease lines. Both are Botulinum toxin type A proteins that work to target and relax certain muscles allowing wrinkles to soften and disappear.
Juvéderm®
FDA approved facial gel filler that replaces natural Hyaluronic Acid to the skin, enhancing elasticity and volume. Mainly used around the lips and nose area diminish expression lines and wrinkles.
Restylane® and Perlane®
Two FDA approved dermal fillers, both utilizing natural Hyaluronic Acid, found in human skin, to enhance elasticity and volume of the skin in the face and lips.
Radiesse®
FDA approved volumizing facial filler that combines instant volume through the injection of Calcium Hydroxylapatite microspheres with an increase in the production of the patient’s own natural Collagen, stimulating and smoothing skin.
Sculptra
Sculptra works within the deep dermis to help restore lost collagen. This reinforced collagen structure provides a foundation that begins to restore the look of fullness of your shallow deep facial wrinkles and folds that have worsened over time. The approach Sculptra takes, is a gradual and subtle correction of these facial wrinkles.
What does the Recovery After a Male Facial Fillers Procedure Look Like?
Recovery varies largely with the product used, areas of the face treated, and the amount of treatment. Generally, a full recovery will be about two weeks, and returning to work is feasible after the first week of recovery. A prescription medication will be provided to help ease the swelling and bruising after treatment.
