“ I had great experience with Coolsculpting. I had my midsection done (abs, love handles, back undeneath bra). I just saw the before & after pictures and am amazed with the results. I didn’t think I looked much different until I saw the pictures. It was relatively painless and worth it. I had swelling for a few weeks after the procedures (it gradually went away) and could see a difference about 7-8 weeks after. I definitely recommend this procedure to anyone who just can’t seem to get rid of the fat with diet & exercise. Dr. Birely & Kimberly Lang were wonderful, I felt very comfortable and at ease at all times.“

“Deciding to go in for the cool sculpting procedure at Dr. Birely’s Towson office was an easy decision to make. I was inspired to visit after a YouTube commercial I happened across randomly. I exercise regularly but have always had issues with my mid section which can be a definite confidence killer. So, when I did further research and saw the affordability of the procedure at Dr. Birley’s office I knew I could do it. I have never been to a Plastic Surgeon’s office before so I had all these stereotypical ideas of how it would be. But upon meeting Kimberly the CoolSculpting Technician I felt at ease and actually excited about what was to come. I started coming to Dr. Birely’s office in 2011 after I was referred by my mom, a nurse who knows many professionals in the field of cosmetic procedures & surgery. My first visit with Cheryl, who applied the filler Restylane to my smile lines, literally changed my life.
At that point I was only 32 but I had been a very heavy smoker for more than 6 years, and also just lost 50 pounds. The skin on my face did not bounce back and I was left looking old, tired and haggard. My once full cheeks were drooping and sunken in.
Even though I had already quit smoking, I didn’t regain that healthy youthful glow about me — I barely recognized myself when I looked in the mirror. The Restylane immediately made me look like my old self… except that my eyes still looked weary. Due to the smoking, and having never worn sunglasses a day in my life, my eyes just looked very tired.
I asked Cheryl what I could do about that and she suggested Dysport for the droop between my eyes…and that changed my life even more! My eyes immediately lifted, and I looked happy and alive again! I was so happy to regain my youthful appearance.
Here it is almost four years later, and I have been a faithful patient ever since. I couldn’t have more faith in the staff. I go at least once every few months and have had other procedures such as laser removal of freckles, and lip fillers, and have bought their skin care products as well.
My only wish is that this place stays where it is for the rest of my life because I plan on never leaving.“
“ I am a 57-year-old woman, and have three children two were C-section deliveries and one a vaginal delivery. I have lived with my “baby fat” ever since my first child was born. You know what I am talking about. Your body bounces back except your stomach. It gets worse the more kids you have and the older you get. Until finally, the stomach fat lays over your C-section. The fat that won’t go away no matter how many sit ups you do, no matter how much running you do or exercise you do, it just won’t go away. People would tell me I Need to “target that area” and I did. I made my stomach a bull’s eye and tried stomach crunches and everything else I could think of but my stomach would not shrink. I finally resorted to wear girdles, and be uncomfortable. I wore spanks to keep my stomach in during the day and at night my stomach was even fatter when I took them off. I wore large skirts and tops and let the shirt out, and would never tuck the shirt in or the top in, at least that way I could try to hide my stomach. The rest of me really did not look that bad. I was so self-conscious of my stomach, even with my husband, I just felt fat, fat, fat.
My daughter found Dr. Brent Birely from a friend. My daughter went through the procedure of breast implants. She made a great recovery and wonderful results and was very pleased. My husband and daughter encourage me to get a tummy tuck. I thought I was too old to ever get anything like that done, but they pushed me to go for a consultation. I asked my husband to come with me for the consultation.
Dr. Birely explained everything to us step by step and was very patient with our questions. One of his staff members had a tummy tuck and I was able to ask her questions too. Dr. Birely did not hide anything. He told us how I would feel with the surgery and what to expect as I recovered. The cost of the surgery and operation cost were so much less than I expected it to be. The cost also included the following visits after the surgery too. I was very surprised about that. I felt confident that this is what I needed and something that was affordable. I made the surgery date and had the surgery as an outpatient. I also had a little lipo-suction to my hips to blend the curves.
Dr. Birely’s office called me that night after my surgery and two other times during the week. The recovery was exactly as Dr. Birely said. I had the surgery as an outpatient on a Friday and I was back to work on the eleventh day, a Monday. All of the follow up visits were included with the cost of the surgery, just as Dr. Birely said. There are no hidden costs.
It has been six weeks since my surgery and I am living a dream come true. My stomach is completely flat and I have lost 15 pounds all together. My legs, my arms and my face are so much thinner. My body looks like it did when I first got married. My husband wants to look at me every time I put on a new outfit and he says over and over how amazed he is with my surgery. I went down in my pants size from a 14 misses to a 10 misses. I feel lighter and so much healthier. I can wear medium tops and blouses now instead of a large. I do not have to worry anymore about what to wear to hide my stomach, I can wear anything and I tuck my shirts and tops in, there is nothing to hide. Everything I wear loos so flattering on me. My waist looks great and I look so much smaller on a side profile too. My son called me skinny for the first time. My whole outlook on myself has changed. It has made me happier.
Dr. Brent Birely has a wonderful bed side manner and is an excellent surgeon. He explained everything to us. He answers your questions directly. His staff is great they are very caring from the time of your first visit, through the surgery, and then your recover and follow up appointments. This was a great experience and the only thing I would change is doing it sooner than later.“
